Birdcage Inn
"Birdcage Inn" is Kim Ki-duk's third film that was released domestically in October 1998, and screened at the Berlin International Film Festival in February 1999 as an opening film in the Panorama section. A young woman comes to a seaside hotel service as an occasional nighttime customer. Gradually, however, she comes into conflict with the hotel owner’s daughter, a college student who has contempt for the young woman and her profession. What would have to happen for them to change places for one evening?
