In the year 3000, there will be...motorcycles!

After the triumph of “Death Race 2000” (1975), Roger Corman’s New World Pictures brought back David Carradine to star in this spiritual sequel full of dystopian vibes and a killer supporting cast of grizzled baddies.

Carradine plays a futuristic racer conscripted into deadly sports for the bloodthirsty masses, Richard Lynch (“The Sword and the Sorcerer”), one of the all-time character actor bad guys, is his nemesis on the “destructocycle” and Claudia Jennings (“Gator Bait”, “Unholy Rollers”) is along for the lethal ride. Plus, the film is co-directed by the great Allan Arkush (“Rock & Roll High School”).
