Pervert!
Sex! Death! Freedom! The most outrageous movie ever to be committed to celluloid.
A young man (Sean Andrews as James) comes to spend the summer at the remote desert ranch of his father (Darrell Sandeen as Hezekiah) in hopes of repairing their estranged relationship only to find that he’s become a psychotic madman. But who is responsible for the grisly murders? After a series of bizarre incidents, James begins to doubt his own suspicions. Little does he know the real killer lurks just under his nose!
“Pervert!” is a comedy inspired by the films of Russ Meyer and mixes 1970s sexploitation, sleazy grindhouse gore and the shock laden laughs of John Waters all on the budget of Roger Corman. While the comedy in the films “Pervert!” homages were almost always unintentional, the laughs in “Pervert!” are not only warranted, but frequent. “When dealing with schlock, it’s easy to fall into silly parody.” So says director and producer Jonathan Yudis. “Our goal was to not only make “Pervert!” technically proficient, but legitimately funny. Of course, when it comes down to it, there’s nothing in this movie to be taken seriously. We didn’t.”
