For the first time on the main stage of the Haapsalu Horror and Fantasy Film Festival – a public debate between a practicing witch and a fortune-teller!

We seek answers to age-old questions: Do magical powers really exist? What do mystical cards reveal about people? And how to communicate with the future and the dead?

Kirsti Timmer has answered these questions thousands of times, and her practice leaves even the most hardened skeptics scratching their heads. But what are the scientific discoveries of recent years that completely blur the line between the possible and the impossible, forcing us to doubt everything? Who are we really, and where do we come from? What incredible paradoxes and secrets does the world around us hold?

The debate, spiced with video clips of the most sensational mystical incidents, is led by Urmas E. Liiv, who has put local witches to the test in the Estonian version of „Psychic Challenge”. The audience has a rare opportunity to participate in the exchange of ideas and witness witchcraft taking place right before their eyes.

Urmas E. Liiv’s previous unconventional performance formats – the ghost lecture „How Did Russian Rulers Die?” and the performance-lecture „On the Tracks of Dyatlov Pass Incident” – which also premiered at HÕFF, were so popular that the audience couldn’t fit into the hall.
