Ukrainian soldiers find a hidden Soviet research bunker full of the walking dead.
HÕFF stands with Ukraine – come and show your support too!
Charity auctions supporting Ukraine, featuring items from Estonian films, have already achieved legendary status.
Mart Sander will once again be auctioning off a host of exclusive items from “Our Erika” to “My Family and Other Clowns” at this fifth annual event.
The auction will be followed by the festival’s closing film: the Ukrainian zombie horror “The Dam”, which was made despite the war.
After the Kakhovka Dam is blown up in the course of the ongoing Russian-Ukrainian war, a group of Ukrainian soldiers led by a female fighter code-named Mara finds a secret Soviet bunker in the middle of a drained reservoir, where the USSR had conducted experiments on humans during the Cold War. The consequences of these experiments are still there in the bunker, in the form of half-dead corpses of Soviet soldiers.
Now, in order to survive and prevent the evil from escaping the bunker, the Ukrainians must defeat the Soviet zombies, conquer their own fears and learn to trust each other.
