At HÕFF, Mart Sander presents a portmanteau of three short films called "Three Knocks". The overarching theme of the eerie short stories that take place in the past, present, and totalitarian future worlds is imprisonment with no way out. The actors featured in the films include Silvia Ilves and the reigning Miss International Jasmin Selberg, both making their film debuts, as well as familiar faces from Sander's previous films such as Candy Kikkas, Michelle Hayes, Toomas Kolk, and of course the director himself.

There is also a possibility to see behind the scenes of the TV series Ravengold. This is Sander's biggest project to date – the 8-part series is being produced in cooperation with several countries and is based on his fantasy adventure novel by the same name, which was published at the end of last year. Starring Emmy winner Nick Moss, Disney star Leonardo Cecchi and the latest Indiana Jones star Arthur Sylense.

The Haapsalu Horror and Fantasy Film Festival has shown most of Sander's films in the past. He has also won two awards: the Best Estonian Genre Film Award for Eerie Fairy Tales in 2020 and the Audience Award for the horror whodunit The Sixth Secret in 2022.
