HÕFF has updated their schedule with a new film and started pass sales.

"While not an easy watch by any means, Violation is a fresh take on the revenge genre," described Taste of Cinema after its premiere.

In this psychological horror drama by directors Madeleine Sims-Fewer and Dusty Mancinelli, a troubled woman on the edge of divorce returns home to her younger sister after years apart. When her sister and brother-in-law betray her trust, she embarks on a vicious crusade of revenge.

Starting from today, a limited amount of HÕFF passes are on sale for 49€ and is valid only at the HÕFF screenings in the festival centre Haapsalu Kultuurikeskus.

The 16th Haapsalu Horror and Fantasy Film Festival takes place from August 13-15. The festival opens with Steven Kostanski's horror comedy Pscyho Goreman. The festival dedicates its focus to the work of Stanisław Lem, and screens more than 30 horror, fantasy and action films from over 10 countries in the programme. Alongside other special events, there will be a free open air cinema.
